Let’s Make are places to learn, improve and build on new digital skills; to improve self-confidence and job prospects; a place to offer inspiring activities and to share new skills. 

What you can do at a Let’s Make space: 

3D design and printing - use design software to create and print 3D objects 
Virtual and augmented reality - explore amazing worlds without ever leaving the library 
Robotics - Robots are great to play with and even better to build. You can do both! 
Coding and programming - Get creative with code and learn how to bring your ideas to life 
Film and animation - Make short films and animations using movie-making apps and software 
Sewing and embroidery - Craft your own designs with our digital sewing and embroidery machine and digital cutter 
Digital online training library - Whether you want to brush up on your digital design skills, learn how to market your small business using social media or move on to a new career in the digital industries. LinkedIn Learning provides a whole range of guided learning courses to help you achieve your personal and professional goals 

Through our access to high quality online learning courses via LinkedIn Learning, and our PCs and iMac which have professional grade software, such as the full Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, you can develop new and useful skills within the creative and digital industry. You can also find out about our 3D printers, digital cutter, digital embroidery machine and more! 

This event is aimed at anyone, whether industry worker or aspiring industry worker, who wants to find out how they can complement their skillset or expand and explore new horizons. 

Our two Let’s Make spaces are located within Rugby and Nuneaton Libraries. This event at Rugby Library will run in two hour long sessions and provide you with an opportunity to find out what Let’s Make is all about. 

We encourage smaller groups and individuals to attend these time slots to ensure that everyone will have exposure time to limited equipment. 

The sessions will operate as an open discussion and introduction to the new spaces within the library, providing you with the knowledge to utilise this upcoming offer from Warwickshire Library and Information Service. 

We will be open for visitors to experience this offer every day from Monday 19th Nov - Saturday 24th Nov, between the hours of 12pm - 1pm and 1pm - 2pm.
