Residents and businesses will be connecting with high speed suppliers when Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council's wireless broadband open day takes place on 27th November 2018. Running from 11am to 3pm at the Town hall in Nuneaton, the event will have a marketplace format, with everyone welcome to drop in and discuss their individual needs.
A wide-ranging selection of suppliers will be in attendance, with a focus on helping people benefit from the Government's Gigabit Voucher Connection Scheme. Gigabit vouchers can be used by small businesses and the local communities surrounding them to contribute to the installation cost of a gigabit capable connection. Businesses can claim up to £3,000 against the cost of connection either individually or as part of a group project. Residents can benefit from the scheme with a voucher worth £500 as part of a group project.
